to Install Carpet Tiles

| On
most residential installations we recommend using the 5-spot adhesive method of
installation.
However, for large commercial or business installations the full spread installation
method needs to be used.
We have the correct adhesive
for both types of installation methods. |
The 5-spot
modular carpet tile installation method.
 |
Spray a daub of adhesive
about the size of a quarter on the back of the tile, as shown above, approximately
1 inch from each edge and 1 in the center.
Immediately install the tile.
Turn the carpet tile over and lay it in place. Be sure to lay the carpet square
with all the arrows pointing in the same direction unless you intend to quarter
turn every other carpet tile to make a basket weave design.
ADHESIVE:
Releasable adhesive formulated for vinyl back carpet tile must be used to insure
proper installation. We can ship this
with your order at a very reasonable price. The spread rate for the five spot
method is approximately 300 square feet per one can of our spray adhesive, or
if using full spread method 180 square feet per can.

At doorways and other areas where the tile
is adjoining other types of floor covering, put 3 spots as shown above, and one
long line of adhesive where the tile will end.
The 5-spot method is acceptable
for residential and medium commercial installation. |

per 180 square feet.

Lok-Lift® is a double face web that you can use to install carpets without
the use of messy adhesives or direct over existing carpets. The carpet must be
a level loop carpet & well glued to the floor. Commercial Lok-Lift® can
be used to install carpet tiles over wood floors, ceramic & concrete floors.
Made of knitted mesh material impregnated on both sides with a dry bond adhesive.
Adhesive is environmentally friendly. Product is fully releasable and antimicrobial
treated.
Pricing is .50 cents per sq ft. Available in two rolls sizes:
150' length x 40" width (500 sq ft) - $250;
75' length x 40"

a roll varies with the style and length but larger rolls can weigh 800lbs and

deliveries require a loading dock / receiving area for the truck line to off load.
Business
delivery to businesses without a dock will be charged an extra $85 surcharge
and
the materials will be delivered to the curb or drive of your location.
